(RTTNews) -
US Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton will embark on a Europe-Asia tour Sunday, her aides announced.
Her trip starts with a speech at the Atlantic Council in the German capital, Berlin. She will attend official ceremonies Monday marking the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Clinton will then leave for Singapore to take part in the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation ministerial meeting. From Singapore, the top U.S. diplomat will travel Thursday to the Philippines, which she said is to "show solidarity" with the storm-battered nation.
She will return to Singapore to join President Barack Obama at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit.
Clinton will also accompany Obama on his four-day visit to China, which begins on November 15.
