(RTTNews) -
Vice President Joe Biden will make an appearance on Comedy Central's "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" Tuesday night.
The appearance will mark Biden's sixth appearance on the show and his first since being elected as vice president. It will also mark the first time a sitting vice president has appeared on the show.
Biden last appeared on "The Daily Show" on August 8, 2007, when he was still a candidate for the Democratic nomination for president. He also appeared on July 31, 2007, which was the day he announced his candidacy for president.
In addition to Biden, other notable political guests on "The Daily Show" have included President Barack Obama, former Presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter, former Vice President Al Gore, Senators John McCain and John Kerry, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
Biden's appearance on "The Daily Show" will air Tuesday night at 11 pm EST. It will also be available for viewing the following day at www.thedailyshow.com.
In a similar vein to Biden's appearance, President Obama has appeared on both "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno" and "The Late Show With David Letterman" since being elected.
