(RTTNews) -  Tuesday, Northrim Bank, a subsidiary of Northrim BanCorp Inc. (NRIM: News ) promoted Joe Beedle as President of the bank, effective August 24. Beedle, who was formerly Northrim's Executive Vice President and Chief Lending Officer, will retain primary responsibility for lending and will continue to serve on the executive team responsible for day-to-day management of the bank.

Beedle, with more than 20 years of banking experience, was Chief Financial Officer for the University of Alaska system for six years. He served as president and chief executive officer of Goldbelt, Inc., an Alaska Native corporation, for six years prior to taking the university position.

The company also said Marc Langland, one of its founders, will remain Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Northrim BanCorp, and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the bank. Other executive team members include Chief Operating Officer and Director Chris Knudson, Chief Financial Officer Joe Schierhorn, and executive vice president of Quality Assurance Steven Hartung.
Northrim BanCorp Inc. operates as the multi holding company, which provides a range of banking products and services to businesses, professionals, and individuals in Alaska. Its deposit services include noninterest-bearing checking accounts and interest-bearing time deposits, checking accounts, and savings accounts.
