(RTTNews) -  Tuesday, i2 Technologies Inc. (ITWO: News ) appointed Graham Newland as senior vice president of the company's Europe, Middle East, and Africa or EMEA region. In this role, Newland will be responsible for all facets of the company's EMEA sales, presales, services and support organizations, optimizing business performance and margins while maintaining a focus on customer service.

Newland joins i2 from Torex Retail, where he served as global vice president. There he led large teams with responsibilities for managed services, professional services, third party alliances, presales and a number of EMEA sales segments. Prior to his tenure at Torex Retail, Newland served as chief operating officer at CAS GmbH.
