(RTTNews) -  Catalyst Health Solutions Inc. (CHSI: News ) reported that its third-quarter net income increased to $17.230 million or $0.39 per share from $12.597 million or $0.29 per share last year.

On average, 13 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report profit of $0.38 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenue, excluding items, increased to $725.579 million from $653.033 million last year. Analysts expected revenue of $746.42 million for the quarter.
The company expects fiscal 2010 net income to be in the range of $81.0 million-$84.0 million, which equates to earnings per share range of $1.80-$1.88. Revenue is projected to be in the range of $3.3 billion-$3.6 billion.
