(RTTNews) -  Wednesday, Legacy Reserves LP (LGCY: News ) reported a third-quarter net loss of $0.851 million or $0.03 per share, compared to a loss of $57.0 million or $1.83 per share in the same quarter last year.

On average, six analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.33 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
Total revenues for the quarter increased to $37.9 million from $31.9 million in the comparable quarter last year. Analysts expected the company to report revenue of $45.17 million for the quarter.
