(RTTNews) -  American Oriental Bioengineering Inc. (AOB: News ) reported comprehensive net income for the third quarter of $10.17 million or $0.13 per share, compared to $16.93 million or $0.21 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for the quarter increased 11.7% to $78.8 million from $70.6 million in the prior-year quarter.
On average, analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $0.17 per share, on revenues of $88.56 million for the quarter. Analysts estimates typically exclude special items.
