News ) announced that it will change its New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol for its common stock to "AON" from "AOC".
The Chicago, Illinois-based company noted that this change will become effective at the start of trading on December 1, 2009. Aon specified that this ticker change links its common stock listing with its brand.
