(RTTNews) -  Telegent Systems Inc. said that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 with the SEC relating to the proposed initial public offering of its common shares.

The number of common shares to be sold in the offering and the price range for the proposed offering have not yet been determined.
Goldman, Sachs & Co. and J.P. Morgan Securities Inc. are acting as joint book-runners, and Jefferies & Co. Inc., Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as co-managers for the proposed offering.

Telegent Systems is a fabless semiconductor company that develops and markets highly-integrated, high-performance, CMOS RF and mixed-signal system-on-a-chip solutions.
