(RTTNews) -  Fannie Mae (FNM: News ), reported October 2009 monthly summary.

Gross mortgage portfolio was $771.45 billion, down from $777.11 billion in the year-ago month. Gross Mortgage Portfolio grew at a compound annualized rate of 27.8 in October.

The Conventional Single-Family Serious Delinquency Rate rose 27 basis points in September to 4.72%. The Multifamily Serious Delinquency Rate rose 6 basis points to 0.62% in September.
Fannie Mae's Book of Business declined at a compound annualized rate of 3.1% in October.
