(RTTNews) -  Panasonic Corp. (PC: News ) announced the submission of an Amendment Statement for the Tender Offer Registration Statement to the Director-General of the Kanto Local Finance Bureau, pursuant to Article 27-8, Paragraph 2 of the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law of Japan for the November 4 announcement of the company's intent to buy the shares of SANYO Electronic Co., Ltd., through the tender offer. As a result of this submission of the Amendment Statement, the tender offer period is extended.
