"The Flaming Lips And Heady Fwends," the highly sought after Record Store Day release from the Flaming Lips, will get a second release—to CD and digital formats—on June 26. The album, on which the band collaborated with Coldplay, Ke$ha, Bon Iver, Yoko Ono, Nick Cave and My Morning Jacket, was a tough get on Record Store Day; in recognition, the Lips have rereleased the tracks in more obtainable formats. The original vinyl pressing will not be released again, according to a press release by the band. Biz Markie, Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros, Prefuse 73, Lightning Bolt, Neon Indian, Erykah Badu, New Fumes and Ghostland Observatory are also featured on the collaborative effort.
