The Smashing Pumpkins will release their ninth studio album "Oceania," part of their ongoing 44-song concept album, "Teargarden by Kaleidyscope," on June 19. "Oceania" will be released via EMI/Caroline Distribution/Martha's Music.
Frontman Billy Corgan has said that "Oceania" is the band's "best effort since 'Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.'" Comparing it to the band's previous works, he said, "it is the first time where you actually hear me escape the old band. I'm not reacting against it or for it or in the shadow of it." |
