Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days |
"Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days," the family comedy from director David Bowers ("Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules") is set for theatrical release August 3.
The plot of the film, based on the third and fourth books ("The Last Straw" and "Dog Days") of the "Wimpy Kid" series, follows Greg Heffley (Zachary Gordon) as he plans for his upcoming summer vacation. When his plans go awry he is faced with a dilemma.
Steve Zahn, Peyton List, Rachael Harris, Devon Bostick, Karan Brar, Anne Openshaw, Elise Gatien, Grayson Russell and Emily Holmes co-star.
Wallace Wolodarsky ("The Simpsons") and Maya Forbes co-wrote the script of the 20th Century Fox distributed flick.
"Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days" is rated PG for some crude humor. |
