"Premium Rush," the crime action film from director David Koepp ("Ghost Town," "Secret Window") is due in theatres August 24.
The plot of the film centers on Wilee (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) a New York City bicycle messenger, whose hectic job gets even more hectic after routine delivery—the contents of which make Wilee the target of some very bad actors—turns into a chase through the streets of Manhattan. Michael Shannon co-stars as a dirty cop.
Aaron Tveit, Jamie Chung, Dania Ramirez and Aasif Mandvi round out the cast.
Koepp ("Men in Black 3") and John Kamps wrote the script of the Pariah Films/MEDIA production.
"Premium Rush" is rated PG-13 for some violence, intense action sequences and language. |
