Jobs, Jobs, Jobs. Generating employment in the midst of the most prolonged economic slowdown in decades was the topic on Day One of the Clinton Global Iniative meeting in New York Tuesday.

Two of America's top unions took center stage by announcing they will work with fund managers to re-invest up to $10 billion in pension assets into energy efficient infrastructure.

The committment made by the AFL-CIO and the American Federation of Teachers is an "opportunity to create hundreds of thousands of jobs for Americans," according to ATF President Randy Weingarten, who appeared with AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka.
