Today In Music History - June 21

Heavy metal rockers Disturbed reached the top of the album charts with "Indestructible" on June 21, 2008.

The album was the band's fourth studio effort. It featured singles like the title track, "Inside The Fire," "Perfect Insanity" and "The Night." The LP was the band's third to reach the top of the charts, following 2002's "Believe" and 2005’s "Ten Thousand Fists." The momentum would continue with their next effort, with 2010's "Asylum" also reaching number one.

"Indestructible" took over number one from Usher's "Here I Stand." It held on for a week before being replaced by Lil Wayne's "Tha Carter III."
