Victoria Adams, better known as Posh Spice from the Spice Girls, tied the knot with English soccer hero David Beckham on July 4, 1999. The pair first met at a charity soccer match in 1997 and announced their engagement a year later.
The pair tied the knot in a lavish event at the 560-acre Luttrellstown Castle, just outside of Dublin, Ireland. They were surrounded by a who’s who of celebrity guests, including Victoria’s former Spice Girl groupmates. The reception was attended by 230 guests, who dined on a meal created by chef Jason Reynolds.
According to the Celebrity Bride Guide, the couple shared their first dance to the classic track “It Had to be You” and Victoria wore a strapless Vera Wang gown with an 18-carat diamond tiara. The couple’s son Brooklyn, a baby at the time, slept through the ceremony.
