Christina Aguilera Scored Her First #1 With 'Genie In A Bottle' 13 Years Ago

Eminem and Rihanna reached the top of the singles chart with their collaboration "Love The Way You Lie" on July 31, 2010.

The song was featured on Eminem's "Recovery" album, though much of the publicity surrounding the song focused on Rihanna. The singer, who sang the track's hook, had famously been in an abusive relationship with fellow pop star Chris Brown, and the subject matter of "Love The Way You Lie" - which told the story of an abusive relationship - seemed to hit close to home for the star.

A sequel to the song appears on Rihanna's "Loud" album.

"Love The Way You Lie" took over number one from Katy Perry's hit "California Gurls." It held on for seven weeks, before giving the title back to Perry, this time with her "Teenage Dream" track.
