Existing Home Sales Rise Less Than Expected In July

Sales of existing homes rose 2.3% in July. According to the Mortgage Bankers Association, mortgage activity tumbled once again last week amid a spike in interest rates. Quarterly earnings at Dell declined 18% from last year. And Toll Brothers reported a higher profit for its third quarter.
