Romney Accepts Nomination, Dems Prep For Charlotte

Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney formally accepted the Republican nomination for President Thursday and spent Friday in Louisiana. President Obama was on the campaign trail in oio but also scheduled a visit to hurricane-ravaged Louisiana prior to next week's Democratic Convention in Charlotte, NC. An Ohio judge, meanwhile, granted an Obama request to allow early voting in the state three days prior to the November election.
