Wallie Wasileff, of Houston, and S. Charles Jannack, of New York, came together in Chicago for their first Lollapalooza.

The grade school friends agreed that Lollapalooza was the best festival they been to, but for different reasons.

Jannack loved Depeche Mode and the pulsating energy of Perry's DJ stage, particularly the beats of Bassnectar.

Wasileff said he was blown away by the Decemberists and "the sausage," presumably the food and not some indie band.
