If there is a recession gripping the rest of the country, one would have been hard pressed to find evidence of it in Grant Park Saturday.

While both ends of Chicago's massive Grant Park were packed to the gills for headliner sets, the highlight of Day Two was the scene at host Perry Farrel's stage, where DJs, hip-hop acts and techno stars kept a few thousand scenesters in rapture throughout.

Farrell himself performed a red-hot set in the afternoon sun, a prelude to Sunday evening's festival closer with his band Jane's Addiction.
