Chicago’s own Rise Against got political during their ferocious set. “It’s great to be here on this stage in this city in this park with so much history,” lead singer Tim McIlrath said. “Whether it was the 1968 Democratic National Convention and Chicago Police beating hippies all day long, or President Barack Obama giving his acceptance speech right here.”
