Dutch financial services company ING Group NV (ING) said that its Chief Financial Officer John Hele will leave the company effective March 31, 2009, as he had decided to relocate to U.S. for family reasons and pursue his career outside ING.
Hele will join Arch Capital Group Ltd. (ACGL) as executive vice-president and CFO from April 1. Arch Capital writes property & casualty insurance and reinsurance on a worldwide basis.
Hele, however, remains as member of the Executive Board and CFO of ING till March end to complete the annual accounts and filings for the financial year 2008.
Hele joined ING in 2003 as Chief Insurance Risk Officer and was appointed as member of the Executive Board and CFO on April 24, 2007.
