Lamar Advertising Co. (LAMR) traded in a narrow range for the majority of Wednesday's session, but spiked to the upside around mid-afternoon on above average volume. The stock closed higher by 2.61 at $52.45. Lamar Advertising climbed to a week and a half high and re-crossed its 50-day moving average.

CONMED Corp. (CNMD) gapped up slightly Wednesday and broke out higher around mid-morning. The stock ended the day with a gain of 2.96 at $48.21 on strong volume. CONMED closed challenging the highs of the year, trading at a month and a half high.

Sanderson Farms Inc. (SAFM) climbed for the majority of the morning Wednesday and took out the session highs going into the close. The stock finished with a gain of 2.74 at $81.74. Sanderson Farms broke out of a 1-month trading range Wednesday and set a new high for the year.
