The writers behind the pop act 3LW's track "Playas Gon' Play" claim that Swift flagrantly made use of their hook in the chorus to her hit track. On their track 3LW sings, "Playas, they gonna play / And haters, they gonna hate."

Singletary originally recorded his cover of "Old Violin" for his 2002 album That's Why I Sing This Way. "I grew up listening to him, and he's one of the greatest singers of all time," Brice says.

Thus far no cause of death has been confirmed, but the singer was found dead at his home outside of Nashville earlier this week. News of his passing has begun to travel on social media ahead of an official announcement from Singletary's team earlier this week.
