The three bedroom Colorado vacation home belonging to Ringo Starr is about to hit the market. The Beatles drummer and his wife Barbara are looking to fetch $4.5 million for the 3,192 square-foot ranch just outside the resort town of Aspen.
Located in Woody Creek on the Roaring Fork River, the 16-acre plot is in a neighborhood once shared by writer Hunter S. Thompson and fellow rocker Don Henley. The Starr family purchased the home back in 1991 but according to the Wall Street Journal, have not used it much in recent years.
"The home is special because it has so much river frontage. It is a little ranch out by the river," said agent Joshua Saslove to AOL. "It's like a ranch-ette on the Roaring Fork," he added to the Journal.
Saslove also says that Starr is trying not to release interior photos of the house, hoping to be as discrete as possible. Outside shots are now available on the web.
