Tommy Lee has revealed that he will be performing on his drum rollercoaster during the band's U.K. tour next month.
The Mötley Crüe drummer will play a drum solo in which he will be launched into the air on a fixed rail, where he will be spun upside down over a series of rollercoaster-like loops. The act also includes pyrotechnics in the background.
Said Lee of the rollercoaster: "I wanted to show people what happens behind the drum set, so I decided to expose it all by flipping the drums vertical, upside-down making them disappear and fly over the audience's heads!"
He added: "This idea came about from when I was a kid going to concerts. Whenever the drummer started his drum solo, I wondered why people would leave to go get a beer, buy a t-shirt, restroom, whatever!!"
Mötley Crüe will be touring with Def Leppard and Steel Panther next month, kicking off their U.K. dates with a December 6 show in Birmingham and wrapping up with a December 14 show at the Wembley Arena in London.
