A Blink-182 biopic, titled Blink, will move ahead with or without the cooperation of the band. Director Brandon Flores is a huge fan of the pop-punk band and feels the group deserves a film that will give fans a glimpse into their early days, even if the members have yet to support the project.
"We've been trying to get in touch with their management, or even the guys in Blink, because we'd like to use their songs in the movie," Flores told MTV. "Or maybe we could even get the guys to do a cameo in the film."
Mark Hoppus said of the project, "No, I didn't know anything about the movie. I wonder how it pays? Should I try out for the part of Tom?"
Flores has already begun the casting process, despite working with a meager $55,000 budget.
