Netherlands Q3 Current Account Surplus Shrinks

Netherlands' current account surplus stood at EUR 6.98 billion in the third quarter, down from EUR 7.49 billion surplus in the previous quarter, the central bank said on Monday. In the first quarter, the current account surplus was EUR 7.69 billion.

Meanwhile, the capital transfers account deficit amounted to EUR 314 million in the third quarter, smaller the EUR 583 million deficit last quarter. Net financial account showed a deficit of EUR 5.09 billion, narrowing from EUR 5.16 billion in the second quarter.
