Latvia's industrial production growth eased in February, after accelerating in the previous month, data from the Central Statistical Bureau showed Tuesday.
Industrial production increased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 7.3 percent on an annual basis, slower than the 8.2 percent gain seen in January.
Production in the mining and quarrying sector advanced 7.8 percent annually in February, while manufacturing output rose 10.6 percent. The electricity and gas supply sector recorded 2.2 percent growth.
Month-on-month, industrial production rose a seasonally adjusted 0.1 percent in February, after increasing 1.9 percent in January. Production increased for the second month in a row in February.
