CNBC reported Wednesday that American International Group (AIG) is considering launching an initial public offering of airplane leasing business ILFC Holdings in the second quarter.
American International Group posted gains in early trade Wednesday and advanced further during the first half of the afternoon. Shares finished up by 1.65 at $32.52 on above average volume. The stock has been gaining ground for the past 2 weeks and set over an 11-month high.
