Ezcorp Inc. (EZPW: Quote) reported second quarter EPS of $0.73 after the close Thursday, compared to $0.63 in the prior year period. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $0.76. The company also reduced its full year 2012 EPS forecast to between $2.85 and $2.95, from prior expectations of $3.05 to $3.10. The consensus estimate is for EPS of $3.06.
Ezcorp gapped open lower Friday and declined during the first half of the morning. The stock ended the session lower by 4.13 at $26.21 on the highest volume of the year. Ezcorp fell below a 2-week range and set a 3-month low.
