Django Unchained, the new movie from Quentin Tarantino, features Jamie Foxx in the leading role of Django, a freed slave, with whom bounty hunter Christopher Waltz attempts to track down and kill plantation owner, Leonardo DiCaprio.
The unlikely pair of Waltz and Foxx grow to respect one another as the film wears on.
"I kill white people and get paid for it. What's not to like?" a gruff Foxx remarks in the newly released trailer.
Kerry Washington co-stars as Broomhilda, the kidnapped wife of Django for whom he searches during the adventure.
"With striking visuals, stylized gunplay and a particularly interesting relationship between Foxx and Waltz's characters, Django Unchained looks to deliver more of Tarantino's signature sheen," says Rolling Stone of the new flick.
Django Unchained is due December 25.
