Kelly Clarkson showed up at a Nashville industry event with new beau, Brandon Blackstock, stepson of Reba McEntire and artist manager. The two were rumored to be a pair for sometime.
"I would love to say that it had something to do with my work, but it doesn't," Clarkson told Taste of Country, crediting her new beau with her slimmer figure.
"I have a boyfriend, and if I'm being completely honest, no one likes to be not toned when you are dating someone," she added.
"I'm too happy! He's ruining my creativity!" she joked, "I'm writing all this happy sh-! It's killing me."
"I love that I'm in a relationship right now. I want a life," she continued. "The past five years or so I've found my groove and my balance."
