Kings Of Leon drummer Nathan Followill has announced that he and wife Jessie Baylin are expecting their first child. Followill announced the news Wednesday, June 27 via Twitter:
"I can proudly announce that me & the lovely @JessieBaylin are expecting our first child. I'm beyond excited/anxious. Life is beautiful."
The band's spokesperson, Ken Weinstein, confirmed the news when he told E! that "They are two of the most excited people I know." The baby is expected in December.
The news of Nathan's child comes on the heels of the birth of his neice, Dixie Pearl Followill, which was born to his brother and bandmate Caleb Followill and wife Lily Aldridge just a few days prior.
Nathan and Jessie tied the knot in November 2009 at Wolf Den Farm in Brentwood, Tennessee.
