Anthrax have settled a lawsuit with former singer Dan Nelson out of court. Nelson filed a lawsuit for over $2 million alleging that he was unfairly ousted from the group to make room for a reunion with former singer Joey Belladonna.
There has been little word on the nature of the settlement, but a rep for the band tells antimusic.com that they offered a "small cash" settlement plus co-writing credits for the music on the band's current release, Worship Music.
Bassist Frank Bello spoke with the press following a hearing in a Manhattan District Court, claiming that he had a lot to say on the matter, but was bound to secrecy:
"I've got to put a band-aid on my tongue from biting it so much," he told the press.
