European Economics Preview: Eurozone Foreign Trade Data Due

Foreign trade data from euro area is due on Friday, headlining a light day for the European economic news.

At 2.00 am ET, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association is scheduled to release Europe's new car registrations data for June. Sales had increased 7.6 percent year-on-year in May.

In the meantime, Statistics Finland issues inflation figures for June. Prices had climbed 0.7 percent annually in May.

At 5.00 am ET, Eurostat is slated to publish euro area foreign trade data for May. The trade surplus is forecast to rise to EUR 20.2 billion from EUR 19.6 billion in April.

In the meantime, Italy's foreign trade data is due for May. The trade surplus totaled EUR 3.6 billion in April.
