Boeing Co. (BA) Has Surged To A New High After Guidance Increase

Boeing Co. (BA) reported second quarter core EPS of $2.55 Wednesday morning, compared to the loss of $0.44 a year ago. The consensus estimate was for EPS of $2.30.

The company also raised its outlook for core EPS for the full year to between $9.80 and $10.00 from the prior range of $9.20 to $9.40. Analysts are expecting EPS of $9.39.

Boeing has gapped open sharply higher this morning and is now up 13.80 at $226.26 on above average volume. The stock has been on an upward trend for over 2 months and has surged to a new high for the year.
