Australia Consumer Inflation Forecast Due On Thursday

Australia will see the forecast for consumer prices in July, highlighting a light day for Asia-Pacific economic activity. In June, the forecast put CPI higher by 4.2 percent on year.

New Zealand will release June figures for food prices; in May, food prices were flat on month.

Singapore will provide May numbers for retail sales; in April, sales were down 0.2 percent on month and up 0.4 percent on year.

Malaysia will release May data for industrial production and manufacturing production; in April, they were up an annual 4.6 percent and 5.3 percent, respectively.
