Dr Pepper Snapple Group Inc. (DPS) announced that John Stewart, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, has decided to take early retirement. The company said that to facilitate the transition of his duties as Chief Financial Officer, Stewart has agreed to remain in his position until March 31, 2010. The company will conduct an external search for his replacement.
Stewart, 51, has served as Chief Financial Officer since November 2006. Prior to joining the company, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Diageo North America, a subsidiary of Diageo PLC.
