Capsoft, a provider of document automation software and services, said that it has agreed to buy the HotDocs software business from LexisNexis, a member of Reed Else-ier N- (ENL, RUK). Financial terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
HotDocs document assembly software helps to quickly and efficiently generate customized documents such as contracts, sales proposals, government and court forms, legal documents, loan applications and medical forms.
LexisNexis retains its Automated Forms group, and will continue to provide HotDocs-enabled forms and precedents with solutions such as LexisPSL, LexisONE, lexis.com, LexisLibrary, LexisNexis Total Practice Advantage, and other LexisNexis Automated Forms sets.
