Monday, Walgreens Co. (WAG) appointed Charles Greener as vice president of corporate affairs and communications. Greener, joins Walgreens from Fannie Mae in Washington, D.C., where he served as chief communications and marketing officer. At Walgreens, Greener will oversee all government affairs, community relations and corporate communications activities.
The company also appointed Kathleen Wilson-Thompson as senior vice president and chief human resources officer. Wilson-Thompson will be responsible for the strategy and delivery of all human resources related activities at the nation's largest drugstore chain. She is currently senior vice president of global human resources at Kellogg Co.
Walgreen Co., together with its subsidiaries, operates a chain of drugstores in the United States. The drugstores sell prescription and non-prescription drugs, and general merchandise.
