So You Think You Can Dance will feature American Idol season eight finalists Adam Lambert and Kris Allen during the next couple of weeks.
Idol winner Allen will appear on December 9 to perform his single, "Live Like We're Dying." The following week, Idol runner up Lambert will perform "Whataya Want From Me" for the show's season finale.
The performance will be Lambert's first appearance on Fox since his loss on American Idol. Since then, the singer has released his debut album, For Your Entertainment, and gave a controversial performance at the American Music Awards.
The sexually-charged AMA show resulted in Lambert being temporarily banned from ABC. His scheduled appearances on Good Morning America and Jimmy Kimmel Live! were both canceled.
Lambert will return to ABC with a pre-taped appearance on The View.
Allen's time following his Idol win has been somewhat more low key. He is scheduled to perform at Billboard's New Year's Eve Live special on December 31, which will be hosted by Carmen Electra.
