Madonna held a secret dance audition late Wednesday night at the SL nightclub in New York's Meatpacking District. The New York Post's Page Six reports that more than 30 dancers showed up, formed a circle around the singer and conducted a dance-off while her DJ, Tony Touch, worked the turntables.
"She was looking for new dancers for her upcoming tour," a source told the Post. "It was pretty epic. Some professionals were doing flips and spins, while the amateurs sort of just stared."
Also reported to be in attendance were New York Knicks star Danilo Gallinari and singer Eve.
Madonna is set to release a live album, Sticky and Sweet, on March 30. It will be her first release under her new recording and business deal with Live Nation.
