Three Injured In Dallas Office Shooting

At least three people were injured in a shooting incident that unfolded at an 18-story office building in north Dallas Monday morning, according to officials and local news reports.

The gunman reportedly opened fire on a father and son who runs a financial services firm on the third floor of the building. It is believed that the shooter was apparently dissatisfied with the financial advises provided to him by the two victims.

After shooting the father and son duo, the shooter reportedly opened fire on the police officers who arrived at the scene, missing them narrowly. He then shot himself in the head after the police officers returned fire.

All the three injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment after the incident. It is understood that the father and son were in a stable condition, but the the condition of the shooter was listed as critical.

The incident unfolded on the third floor of the Four Forest building, which also houses the the United Texas Bank. The sound of gunfire prompted many of the bank employees to lock themselves up in a vault.

All offices in the building were shut down by police officials, who are currently interviewing witnesses about the incident. The identities of the shooter and his two victims are yet to be disclosed, but local news agencies reported that the office suite where the shooting took place is run by an investment firm named Smith Financial Group, Inc.
