Woodward Governor Co. (WGOV) Monday said it received a multi-year agreement with Nordex SE, Germany that would substantially increase Woodward's deliveries of wind power converters to Nordex. Woodward would manufacture the CONCYCLE power converters for Nordex at its facilities in Kempen, Germany, and Fort Collins, Colorado, USA.
As a result of the agreement, Woodward would become a key supplier for Nordex's 2.5 MW wind turbines built for the European and North American markets. Nordex is a global supplier of megawatt wind turbines.
