SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, a portfolio company of The Blackstone Group (BX), said Thursday that David D'Alessandro will join the company as its chairman of the board.
D'Alessandro, 59, is a chairman and chief executive of John Hancock Financial Services, Inc. He retired from Hancock in 2006.
SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment owns and operates 10 U.S. theme parks, including SeaWorld, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens.
