National Thermal Power Corporation Ltd., or NTPC, said the Unit # 2 of 660 MW of Sipat Super Thermal Power Project was commissioned on December 24. With this, the total capacity of NTPC group became 36,014 MW.
With the commissioning of this unit, the total installed capacity of Sipat Super Thermal Power Project stood at 2,320 MW.
At the BSE, NPTC shares are being traded at Rs.160.80, up by 1.45 percent from the previous close.
